SUMMER IT'S SUMMER YAY JUNE 21st I LOVE SUMMER WHOOOOOO
I don't love having heat exhaustion (WTF), but I guess that must have been my fault. Still, SUMMERRRRRR!

Oh also, happy Father's Day. My mother and I bought my father a coin with dirt from the old Shea Stadium (where his team played and where the Beatles played) because they tore the stadium down and he loved that stadium like whoa. So we bought him some dirt. He loves it, he showed it off to some visiting cousins and he took it with him to work. So that's good. :)

I went to see another baseball game last night, Rays V. Yankees. Last time we went we saw them play Oakland, which was nice (EXCEPT THEY LOST WTF) and I told my father it would be more fun if we had someone to actively root against, and since my father's a Mets fan (and therefore morally opposed to all things Yankees) he got tickets (which cost more! for the same seats!) to see them play NYY.
The Rays are the best team in the league right now. No, I'm serious, THEY ARE. It's so cool to have a hometown team win stuff.
Except that they lost. And they lost again today and if they lose tomorrow it'll be the first series they've lost since like June. OH RAYS WHY DO YOU START SUCKING EVERY TIME I START CARING?? Plus my two favorite players didn't play (one is injured and was SUPPOSED to be back yesterday) and one they just refuse to let play. I swear they pull people out of the stands to play before they let him play. He pitched a little tonight though, which was cool, but then they took him out and replaced him with someone who sucks more. EVEN THIS GUY'S WIKIPEDIA PAGE SAYS HE'S THE BEST EVER WTF GUYS. (Actually I started paying attention to him one day while idly watching the game- and now I understand why men watch sports, it's really easy to simultaneously think about other things/zone out and pay attention and be entertained- and I noticed that every time he pitched, his like six necklaces would fall out of his shirt and he'd have to put them back in, and he has a gigantic Adam's apple, and also when he breathes his cheeks puff out in perfect little circles, and he amused me so much it took me awhile to realize he was actually pitching a really good game, and also I've just this minute realized what "Adam's apple" means, and now I feel stupid.) Here's his profile: http://tampabay.rays.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=346797 (He has such a strangely shaped head). With my luck they'll trade him next year and I will pitch a fit (get it??)

Also before the game I went to the store to get my new antibiotics (since, if you'll remember, the last ones gave me the rare but horrible side effect that could cause my tendons to snap) except that my doctor never called it in, the whore. Got it today though. I just don't want to get sick again. It was fun for awhile but I'm ready to not be sick now (and I feel fine, so I guess I'm not anymore.)

Writing is going well, I did two full pages longhand in bed the other night that I have to transcribe, which I hate doing.
