Guys (or just Madi idk) they are all acting SO WEIRD I'm gonna have to split them up into smaller dorms or something idk idk
also I finished importing all the Weasleys that I care to rn (not all of the ones that EXIST tho there will be more later because Arthur and Molly do not know how to wrap it up in any timeline)

Took another break from extracting and fixing-up Weasleys (and others) and retexturing their hairstyles and stuff to turn off free will again and see what else happened. And it went exactly like you probably expect. Shit got a little bit real. As always, all caps are in chronological order, and sometimes lots of stuff happens at the same time. Sims are busy! Can be clicked and thus embiggened. In italics are the little bits of storystuff I think of when I'm playing with these sims, in between laughing at them doing weird shit like dancing in the bathroom.

PROLOGUE 1
Aug. 4th, 2017 09:39 amIn which I finally show you the first batch of sims. Just an introductory post, no cool plot stuff or funny hijinks or whatever. Just showing how they're all related and how they're all reacting to this new situation.

Man that was a lot of typing, I forgot how hard this was. BUT ANYWAY. I'm still grafting together family trees and setting up their starting relationships (shit's gonna be so great). And, of course, we're missing a huge chunk of our already large cast. We're missing Narcissa's sisters and their husbands and kids, and we're missing the like six hundred Weasleys (there are so many Weasleys). And Hermione! And Harry and Ginny's future kid, which will complicate Harry and Draco's delicate nemesiship! THE DRAMA.

And, of course, we're missing a huge chunk of our already large cast. We're missing Narcissa's sisters and their husbands and kids, and we're missing the like six hundred Weasleys (there are so many Weasleys). And Hermione! While I'm waiting for stuff to load, let's look at some outtakes (I snap outtakes with the in-game camera but I use regular print screen for the good stuff).

But anyway, if all goes well I'll have something nice to post soon! I'm doing all the sims in batches because there are SO MANY and the Weasleys will need like 2 dorms to themselves (there are so many Weasleys). (AND IT'S JUST CRASHED FOR THE SECOND TIME. THANKS. I wasn't having trouble with crashes until I started this project, and there really isn't any reason there should be any crashes because I haven't put in any new custom content or hacks or anything, so I can't even guess why this keeps happening. If crashes keep happening, I have a backup of the neighborhood from before any of them moved in that I can use to start over. I'd rather not, but it wouldn't be too terrible.)
Also, I've been having trouble with some of the hacky shenanigans I've been trying to do, so for now everyone will have to be technically the same age. I plan to hack their character files so the younger characters will be shorter. Actually, I'll probably hack all the characters to have slightly different heights. I'd like to make some of them super tall and some of them super short because canon reasons, but then animations get weird when they interact and they end up kissing an armpit or something, so I'll stick to smaller variations.

long story short there was a lot of aging up and down, and half of their faces turned inexplicably blue, and Narcissa works out in a lumberjack's jacket. Teddy wears some sort of animal skin. Lucius put on the wrong hair entirely, and decided to wear pink.
oh Draco you beautiful disaster
and then in the process of trying to put everybody's faces back together, this happened (THANKS A LOT, ALICE). ALL THE BLUE PEOPLE LOST ALL THEIR ACCESSORIES AND MAKEUP AND EYEBROWS AND LIKE. I HAVE NOT SPENT 2 FULL NIGHTS EXTRACTING THEM TO GET ACCURATE APPEARANCES ONLY FOR THIS TO HAPPEN (I also spent about an hour having Narcissa inexplicably, repeatedly crash body shop while I was trying to get her ready. BITCH.)
but the good news is that this set (there are many more to go) is all moved in and know to whom they're related (although Sirius doesn't know Narcissa and Draco and I guess also Scorpius are his cousins yet. And I guess his kids don't know, either. But I'll set their family flags soon). I also have a record of what makeup they were wearing, so that's good. Except that I totally forgot about Amaryllis and Darien :x but don't worry, they'll be coming soon. The Malfoy branch of this giant twisted family tree will probably have to move out, because this lot is hella laggy, but I have some things to do first~
I'ma upgrade this to like 17% ready.
