IT'S BEEN AWHILE BUT I'M BACK HERE WITH THE HARRY POTTER DISASTER
First some caps from August, then I MADE HARRY AND DRACO GO ON VACATION ALONE TO WORK OUT THEIR SHIT AND IT WAS INSANE AND INTENSE AND DIFFICULT.

I can't remember if I posted already, but they made me buy them a tiny dog. Everybody loves it and it doesn't even count as a real dog.
I can't remember if I mentioned it, but "friendly" hugs always increase the relationship score of the person getting hugged, so as soon as the interaction is available for 2 sims who I want to STOP SLAPPING THE SHIT OUT OF EACH OTHER, I spam it. Lily thinks this is adorable. James thinks Lily is adorable.
Meanwhile, it has amused me every time she's done this dating back to originalMadisim. SHE'S JUST SO BORED BY EVERYTHING HERE.
Harry and Draco are both taking hits to their Reputations from fighting outside so often; Draco's is worse. Slytherin.
Luna's secondary aspiration is "grilled cheese" and now she just wants to do grilled-cheese-things.
It's so cold a penguin walked by. So cute!
Also so cold that Draco turned blue. I don't remember what he was doing outside that made him stay in the cold long enough to turn blue.
I returned to them last night to see how things were going.
They were still tryna kill each other, despite their now-friendship-level short term relationship score AND I played some other sims on vacation and it made me really miss playing vacations, so I decided to build them a little vacation home and send them there. I'd had this idea awhile ago and decided last night I'd just go with it.
They arrived in the sunshine of Twikki Island looking miserable. I BOOKED YOU GUYS FOR THE LONGEST VACATION I COULD SO GET USED TO IT ASSHOLES
I chose Twikki Island instead of Generic Asialand or Ski Resort But There's No Skiing So You Just Throw Snowballs and Axes because it seemed the most relaxing. Draco sunbathed.
...and got a sunburn. Welp.
I put some rotating clouds + a horizon so they wouldn't just be staring out at blank bright blue and it's so pretty! A little fuzzy, but whatever.
Sims LOVE building sandcastles - they get obsessed with them - so I thought it might be a nice bonding exercise. It did build their relationship a bit.
Aaaand then Draco poked him in the chest and made him cry and ruined it.
Draco's reputation took another hit and he doesn't care. But omg the horizon mod looks so pretty. Kinda glowy tho. That's just the magic of the tropics.
Tea is a Generic Asialand thing, but I thought maybe some nice tea might calm things down, I've been using tea as a coping mechanism lately so maybe it can help them. They look relaxed :)
I've been trying not to cheat, so I've left free-will on quite a lot, soooo I have to keep them busy or they'll beat the shit out of each other. Sent them to the hot springs yaaaaaay~
(Well, okay, I cheat their needs up. NOBODY HAS TIME FOR SLEEPING AND PEEING.) Also: Harry wants to get a giant magical plant to trick Draco into letting himself get eaten so that it will produce a vial of his life essence that Harry can then consume, this extending his life, even though college kids get no benefit from such a thing. Also, this would kill Draco. Harry wants to drink Draco. To death. This is hella gay in the darkest way. Also a plant that looks like a cow that tricks people by producing a large slice of cake complete with a lit candle is very canon, amirite
One of the vacation things is to learn massages. I thought maybe a special tropical massage might help them. In the background, Draco chatted up a vacation local, possibly by discussing how dead he wants Harry to be.
Then he argued with her, because I guess he's exactly the kinda person who would go somewhere and harass the locals.
"Shouldn't you roll up your sleeves before applying oils and stuff?" "Nah it's just a hot stone massage and also nobody feels like waiting for the change clothes box to load."
Anyway I just cannot seem to get their long-term relationship score up enough to withstand the hits it takes from them CONSTANTLY SLAPPING/SHOVING/POKING EACH OTHER, so I used the autonomous romance hack to make them flirt. Neither of them got upset, so it's not really cheating, rite
Their short-term score is high enough for the crush status to be activated. Yay! Also Draco's LTR is like way higher than Harry's, which is still down at like -70 or something because Draco is more often the one who starts shit.

Decided to give them both secondary aspirations that match each other's primary ones, so they'd be more compatible. For some reason, they both wanted to buy cribs and changing tables...??? ?? ?
Newly-minted romance sim Harry wants a date, despite the option not being available because of their low relationship score. Newly-minted family sim Draco shoves the object of his affection. Welp.
The good news is, Draco's LTR is now high enough for flirt actions to come up without any hacks.
Used my hack to let them do romantic hugs, which worked on Harry's LTR.
Draco's LTR is now officially no longer negative, meaning HE WON'T FIGHT WITH HIM ANYMORE.
The ask on date option was available, so I let him - and oh. Harry's LTR is still way too low for success. Draco responds the way most Slytherins would: GIMME A LOVE POTION I'M SICK OF WAITING FOR THINGS TO TAKE THEIR NATURAL COURSE LET'S BE EXPEDIENT HERE

I could spend the next several weeks (real time) pushing Harry's LTR up enough to allow him to ask for a date but tbh that's just too boring. So I used a hardcore hack I have for emergencies like this (I HAD TO EDIT GAME FILES) so I could enable the "ask on date" option.
OKAY DRACO WE GOT 3 MINUTES TO GET YOU UP TO AN "OKAY" DATE SO WE CAN EXTEND IT. HARRY'S SOFTENING. HE'S ALREADY AFRAID OF FALLING OUT OF LOVE WITH YOU AND HE'S NOT EVEN IN LOVE WITH YOU. LET'S DO THIS.

Harry rolled a "smooch" want which is a dance-specific thing so I said OK SMOOCH HIM and
Draco got cold feet I guess, so despite the smiles, the dance was not a success and knocked their STR down to 90. AGAIN.

Harry still had dance-related wants, so I had them dance again and attempt a "head on shoulder." It made Draco like devilishly happy or something.
More non-hack kisses are now available to Draco, so he gives Harry a "tender kiss" on the actual lips (using a very rare animation!)

They went exploring, and Draco stole like a seashell or something from the ghost captain.

It was time for me to go to bed, so I sent them to bed too.
