*pulls lj friends list into bone-breaking hug* I MISSED YOU ALL!!!
Yeah, so, the hurricane killed us. Erm.
We lost our electric power (aka God) around noon Sunday and it was bad. The air conditioning died and all the food in our freezer and refrigerator died too and no tv and omg omg omg NO INTERNET. But night time was the worst. I can't sleep without a nightlight. I'm pathetic, I know, but it was really hard and the second night I was too creeped out to stay in my own room so I slept with my mother which was kinda stupid since the lack of AC kinda made her get her stupid on (she admitted that with the heat she went nuts, it was funny) and nothing beats a drive through a pitch-black Spring Hill at 4 AM because we were hot and bored and, like I said, the parentals were crazed. I'll update more tomorrow with laundromat horror stories and the terror that is life sans internet and TV. *shudder*
