I couldn't resist.

Saw this on MSN: http://msn.careerbuilder.com/Custom/MSN/CareerAdvice/WPI_AvoidingBurnout.htm

1. chronic fatigue - exhaustion, tiredness, a sense of being physically run down
This may just be from staying up 'til past 3 in the morning for research papers. Or from carrying our books.

2. anger at those making demands
Maybe this is where Die, Davenport, Die or Die, Sexton, Die come from.

3. self-criticism for putting up with the demands
WE DON'T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS! hahahahahh.

4. cynicism, negativity, and irritability
'Nuff said.

5. a sense of being besieged
Could be having a giant Glencoe test, a Physics test, and a History test all on the same day.

6. exploding easily at seemingly inconsequential things
WHAT DO YOU MEAN, JOHN LENNON ISN'T GOD?

7. frequent headaches and gastrointestinal disturbances
I am allergic to the cologne of my teachers + I have acid reflux disease and minor lactose intolerance. I TOLD YOU IT WAS AP!

8. weight loss or gain
My weight skyrocketed up to 130ish for awhile, went back to 125, then plummeted to 120. Seriously, my weight has not changed since I was in the 7th grade.

9. sleeplessness and depression
Can't sleep because of AP test, and depressed because of physics grade. There you are.

10. shortness of breath
You'd be short of breath too if you had to carry my bookbag around.

11. suspiciousness
*can't think of an AP parallel...* SEXTON. Yeah. We were always suspicious of that bastard.

12. feelings of helplessness
This would be how we felt during the research paper fiasco.

13. increased degree of risk taking
DON'T MAKE ME HAVE TO USE THIS! I SWEAR I WILL! I'LL HAND IN MY LAB UNFINISHED!

hahahahahahah.

I have a story to tell. Later.

1. chronic fatigue - exhaustion, tiredness, a sense of being
Grace, I thought you were like this even before AP.
I'm always tired. Even during summer. I yawned 5 times in a span of two minutes at 4:00 in the afternoon.

2. anger at those making demands
Jesus effin Christ Ms.Long. Research Report? WTF? Who makes 10th graders do that? Ooooh...and my mom and her list of daily chores for me to do. I wanna bite her head off sometimes

3. self-criticism for putting up with the demands
Eh...no

4. cynicism, negativity, and irritability
Effin kids in the effin crowded hallways of this damned school...GET OUTTA MY EFFIN WAY BEFORE I GOUGE YOUR EYES OUT AND RIP OFF YOUR SLUTTY OUTFIT! *ahem*

5. a sense of being besieged
Like having your final exam in physics and Alg. II on the same day? Like when your physics teacher knocks of three letter grades when your lab is only 3 minutes late?

6. exploding easily at seemingly inconsequential things
"Phil! Stop asking me what we did in physics" "PHIL! GIVE ME YOUR EFFIN FORMULA SHEET OR ELSE I'LL FAIL THIS TEST IN ALG. II"

7. frequent headaches and gastrointestinal disturbances
Ooh, headaches. Just headaches all the time lasting for a week.

8. weight loss or gain
Once lost 5 pounds over Christmas break. My weight went from 104 to 115 in less than a year.

9. sleeplessness and depression
It's summer and I still worry about how I did on my physics and alg.II test. Say anything?

10. shortness of breath
Nope

11. suspiciousness
*sings* I think I'm paranoid...

12. feelings of helplessness
Only when you're having your dad type up your research report a day before it's due. Only when you force your mom into taking you to the drugstore at 10:30 at night to buy computer paper for $6.00 for a school project.

13. increased degree of risk taking
Nope

yup, that was fun.

Ahahahahahaa.

I think you have too much free time on your hands. =\

Oh yeah, can I use this for the AP post as well? :D
