Unbelievable
I just spend about an hour trying to get online, but it's ok. I should be thankful to even be using this computer. ...Let me explain. (And I promise I'll sound a lot like Stephanie O. by the time I'm finished!)
Last night I left my computer on my couch because I'm lazy. My father moved it to the fireplace when he came home.
A few hours ago I picked up my dearest laptop and discovered that the ants that frequently inhabit various places in my house (regardless of my mother's incessant cleaning...) were now living inside of my laptop.
Oh, how I cried.
I brought it outside and my mother sprayed bug spray on the table in hopes the ants would come out. They ran back in. So I removed some keys (the keys are removable, thankfully) and helplessly watched them scramble in through the openings in the keys and the opening where the fan is. Oh, how I cried.
I took a shower and sent my mother to my grandfather's for this can of pressurized air used for cleaning. I used it, but the air turned to liquid and sprayed inside of one of the various openings in my computer. Cried a lot more.
I used the hairdryer (which itself scared me, since it's literally older than I am) and dried it. I let it sit for a long time, and my father finally came home from work and we tried to use it.
THEN the internet wouldn't work. (Our ISP was bought out by another ISP and things are still a bit weird.) But, thankfully, everything seems to be normal. I hope no more ants are inside. Bugs can eat wires, make nests, lay eggs, etc., and can really damage computers, so I have to keep my fingers crossed.
My other computer will be home soon :)
Now I have to restart so Flash will install itself so I can go to http://www.jkrowling.com -- a truly great site.
See you tomorrow (I get to go to school late, take an easy exam, possibly have a party, see my wife, and play with the monohippies!)

You would cry too, if it happened to you! It's my laptop and I'll cry if I want to...
