Rap is crap, rock is crock, and that's what makes the world go round
I found this in my George e-group....
**** I can't stand rap. people who can't sing do rap. you can sing rebellion as well as talk it. Hitler would have been in a rap band.***
So anyway, upon being very curious, I searched the Songwriter's Hall of Fame website for Lennon/McCartney.
I found a huge gush about Paul and his solo efforts and a bunch on his solo albums and of course the token Yesterday praise. But...
John got NOTHING BUT A PAGE OF RECOMMENDED SOLO ALBUMS.
I am OUTRAGED.
Biased scumbags didn't even induct George. :(
Drink to me only with thine eyes.
-Colonial American song (makes one think of Stephanie, yes?)
That is all.

Dear friends and gentle hearts...
Upon my death I wish nothing more than a kind word and a soft touch, the kind that leaves the soul soothed, and the mind at ease.
With a sense of urgency, I have to leave my last words in such a form that they will be easily remembered. Hence, a song. Songs are the poetry the Sun writes to its lover, the Moon. She writes the melody, and he, the words, but it is one song always and forever intertwined, one part not quite complete without the other.
And thus, I give to you...
*fireworks and heavy drums*
THE ANGULAR BANANAS' THIRD SONG.
The Light from Within
Flickering like a candle flame in the wind
Undying but barely there
Holding on to- what?
The smile flickers like the flame
The eyes always remain the same-
Unblinking, with soft ironic blame
I still feel it
My stereophonic plea
Heard throughout the room,
Though a different way from each speaker
The smile flickers like the flame
The eyes always remain the same-
Unblinking, with soft ironic blame
I still feel it
Watch the skies and mind the potholes
Take cover and flee inside
Duck and run
The smile flickers like the flame
The eyes always remain the same-
Unblinking, with soft ironic blame
I still feel it
Overrated happiness and
Underrated feelings
I HATE YOU.
Love comes to everyone. I hope.
