I am so relieved. I never thought this would ever happen, I never thought we'd actually have conclusive proof that he was dead. Now I'm just worried about what happens next.

I totally get what you mean. He could have remained in hiding forever, suddenly died one day in privacy and we'd have had no idea. I think the one thing that makes me actually ecstatic about this is the fact that we have some closure for his victims now. It doesn't suck that we did it, either. I mean, I hate killing so fucking much but of all the human beings in the world he is one I feel absolutely no sadness for. He did too many horrible things and had so little remorse, I can't bring myself to sympathize at all.

And I am SO IN LOVE with Obama right now. I can't even. When we were waiting for the speech, my mom and I were talking. We agreed that Obama and Panetta had been working on this since day one, that they had sealed it, and that it explained Panetta's promotion. Obama makes his speech, and lo and behold. It's true. BARACK OBAMA: GETTING IT DONE.

omg I was freaking the hell out because all they said was "national security announcement" and it was all ominous and shit and twitter was panicking and I was like "WE'RE ALL GON' DIE" but it turned out to be good news!

I saw something about an Obama announcement and I didn't really think anything about it (LOL) but when I saw the news, I was just OMGGGGG because I really didn't think that would be the announcement.

Everyone just thought it was weird because it was an unplanned announcement set for 10:30 at night on a Sunday, which is weird.
