REMEMBER HOW I WAS SICK AND AM STILL SICK AND I WAS CONFUSED BECAUSE I HAD A FEVER AND A SORE THROAT AND THEN THE FEVER AND SORE THROAT WENT AWAY AND THEN MY NOSE WAS ALL STUFFY AND DRY AND GROSS AND I WAS BLOWING YELLOW SNOT

well my mother dragged me to Walgreens (it turns out there is no free clinic, and I have no idea why I thought there might be) and the fakedoctor there told me I have a VIRUS.

This must be some sort of horrible super virus because I don't get viruses. I have an immune system of steel. I literally cannot remember the last time I had an illness that was not a sinus infection treatable with antibiotics.

She also told me I am contagious. CONTAGIOUS! ME! HOW DOES THIS WOOOORK. So, because I am insane, I can actually FEEL germs on my hands (much like how after I go to the bathroom my hands feel really weird until I wash them). I feel like I am spreading horrible death virus to everyone around me. NEEDS MOAR ALOCOHOL SWABS.

I also can't see boyfriend for awhile. We had big plans for tonight but now I can't see him because he has an immune system that collapses under the slightest pressure and I don't want him getting a supersuper virus and then getting even sicker. Me, I can handle srs bsns viruses. Gimme a week and I'll be fine. I'm pretty sure if I ever came in contact with HIV it would shrivel up upon exposure to my immune system. Him, give him a virus and he will collapse in a heap of immune inadequacy and be out of commission for like a month.

I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. I've been siiiick and I want to leave the hoooouse and see people and all kinds of fun crazy stuff like that.

Plus the lady said the sore throat will probably come back and I may even lose my voice but I shouldn't worry. I lost my voice once a few months ago but it was for like an hour in the middle of the night so I've never gotten to practice being devoiced in front of actual people, so I'm vaguely excited for this possibility.

lmfao I lost my voice in high school once, and my teacher was calling roll so I croaked out "I-I'm hereee~" and she just looked at me and said, "YOU POOR THING DDDD:" and the class laughed. P: ENJOY THAT PART IF IT HAPPENS, OK?

i lost my voice before my NYU audition (i had to apply with the, you know, application, but i had to audition because it was for their theatre program), so i spent the whole week before communicating via notepad that i carried around. IT WAS SO INCONVENIENT.

I wish I could lose my voice. Then I wouldn't have to answer the phones at work...

You know my immune system... it's been years since I've had a cold. I think the last time was in 9th grade. In tenth I had a stomach virus and then in 11th and 12th I had a sinus infection, which isn't a virus, and I've had only non-viral sinus infections since.
