I love that Zak Starkey is one of the top 10 search terms on yahoo right now.

For the sarvers among us, he's Ringo's son and is a drummer. And The Who played the halftime show last night, and Zak is their drummer, so I guess people are interested in him.

I don't know about the sound (it's live, hard to pick apart) but he seems to be nothing like his father. My mother says it's probably because he grew up in a time where drummers are expressive and crazy while in Ringo's time they just sat there tapping away smiling. Neither way is better than the other, of course. Just different.

Well, Ringo never did solos, so maybe that has something to do with it. A lack of desire to be a center of attention, maybe.
