THREE new-old Kylie tracks leaked today from the demo sessions of her last album, X (which is also my favorite album). There's an infamous set of 3 CDRs with 49 demos (some of which ended up on the album) that Kylie fans have been DYING to get their hands on. Including me. One of the songs surfaced as a remix (Sexual Gold) but we've never had any of the demos unremixed, so I'm so excited to hear them (haven't yet because mama is still awake and it's rude to sit here with headphones.)

SO EXCITED THO.

I grew up in Australia and, naturally, she is HUMONGOUS over there. Like, a cultural icon or something. Australia is: sports, meat pies, beer, kangaroos, the word 'mate,' and Kylie Minogue.

It took me ages to really actually like her, but once I got over my bigheadedness I loved her. I haven't heard anything other than her singles, I think, but I definitely need to get X because the singles off of that are my total favorites of all of the ones I've heard.

No shame about that forum, bb. I used to be in an Aly & AJ forum and I got bitched at every time I said I liked one's voice over the other's in a particular song.

THIS IS ALL REMINDING ME OF AUSTRALIAN POP ARTISTS BTW. You haven't heard of Delta Goodrem, have you? She was like every tween girl's idol back in the day. YOU'RE JUST SO PREDICTABLE~~

After I started getting into pop music in like 2007 I refused to look at Kylie's stuff... I kind of knew that if I did I'd become obsessed, so I ~experimented with others first. But after I got into her she was it for me. X is amazing, a lot of her superfans seem to think it sucks but I adore it.
I've heard of her but the sayheyers seem to hate her. Never really thought much about it but I think I have to go have a listen, they can be a bit too snobby. :D

I'm really easily influenced by my mom's opinion and she really disliked her so I kind of went off that. 'In My Arms' came out and IT WAS SO AWESOME I CRIED. Pretty much. The video is amazing, too. Her makeup? OMG.

Delta is kind of awful. I think you have to be around nine years old to really think she's, you know, brilliant. But I just listened to a few of her songs after not hearing any for like, two years and omg... nostalgia. I grew up on her.

I think her lyrics are really good considering what they are. And she's really, really cute but her voice irks me just a bit. Check out 'Out Of The Blue', that's one of my favorites. And her duet with Brian is seriously fantastic and it's pretty much my jam and I will love her forever.

I think she's got a new album coming out really soon, which should be super interesting because she's gone all hippie now. Like, hilariously so. She's wearing feathers and bell-bottoms and gems on her eyes. Gotta love it.

In My Arms made me a fan, pretty much. The video is AWESOME. The crazy makeup is so cool, but I also love the less crazy makeup (it's still neon pink but there's just blue? idk) and the b-side for it, Cherry Bomb. I heard those and fell in love like whoa.
