Writer's Block: Birthday Shout-out

There is no book in the world that makes me happier than Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It's my very most favoritest piece of written literature, ever. Why? I don't know. Maybe because Harry deals with all of his shizzz so admirably, or because it's the book where we start getting some backstory. Maybe it's because it's the book with so many people in it acting like they care about Harry. Maybe it's the amazing time travel story that even through 20+ rereads still leaves me finding something I didn't realize before. Maybe it's because it's still exciting to watch Harry go from hating Sirius to realizing he's not the bad guy. Maybe it's because it's fun to watch Snape go ballistic. Maybe it's because even though I have many of the lines nearly memorized, it can still draw me in, reading to see how everything works out, if maybe he'll get to go live with Sirius this time. Will they rescue Buckbeak in time?? Will Harry figure out it's not his father in time?? OMGZ SUSPENSE! And yet it gets me EVERY TIME. Ahhh, I love this book so much. <3
