Before Christmas
1. Does your family send out Christmas cards?:
Yeah. I hope we do this year.

2. How soon do you start shopping?:
Last year I did it on Christmas Eve. Maybe this year I'll do it before then... I hope.

3. Who do you shop for?:
My mother, my father, and my boyfriend.

Decorations
4. Do you put up a Christmas tree?:
YES.

5. If so, is it fake or real?:
Fake all the way. Real trees give me such a headache and they're a mess, too. And I hate the idea of killing trees.

6. Do you like tinsel?:
Yep. It's too much of a mess, though.

7. Do you use homeade or storebought ornaments?
We have a few ornaments that I made when I was little, but mostly the tree's covered in Hallmark Barbies.

8. Do you put Christmas lights outside your house?:
I wish.

9. Do you put lights on the tree?:
It's a pre-lit tree, white lights only. I prefer the multicolored ones, though.

10. How about popcorn and cranberries?:
That's just begging for insects to come in the house.

11. Is there a wreath hanging on your door?:
No. Maybe we will this year?

Christmas Eve
12. Do you celebrate it?:
Yep. With lots of food and my daddy, since it's the one holiday a year my father has off from work.

13. Do you hang up your stocking?:
Yep.

14. Does your family read "Twas the night before Christmas?":
Nah.

Favorite
15. Christmas Movie:
The original Grinch and Charlie Brown movies.

16. Character from any Christmas Movie:
Eh.

17. Christmas Song:
Feliz Navidad and anything that sounds happy. I hate that sad-sounding shit.

18. Christmas Memory:
Seeing that my parents really did listen to me all year and got me all the most wonderful presents I could never imagine getting. It really is the thought that counts.

Cider, eggnog gives me a headache.

Socks. Like Dumbledore. Warm knee socks plz. Or jewelry? :)

28. When do you open your gifts:
One gift on Christmas Eve before bed, and the rest in the morning, of course.

29. What's the best gift you've ever gotten:
Besides my family? Well, probably my electric blanket. That thing is so awesome.

30. What's the worst gift you've ever gotten:
Everyone I know gives lovely gifts. Even if I can't use them, like I said, it really is the thought that counts, so I appreciate it and it makes me smile.

31. Who gives you the most gifts:
Santa? :)

32. Have you ever had a secret Santa:
Once in 9th grade. I forget what I got, but I loved it.

I suck at it, but I don't consider it a chore.

Of course.

It's Florida. We don't burn anything. We do have a fireplace, though.

Probably, but I don't really care. :)

Sometimes. I told my mother I'm absolutely desperate to this year.

No.

Yep. I held it above our heads on purpose. :P

No, but we did that with the Spanish club a couple of times.

Our favorite house stopped doing it, so we don't.

Cookies, chocolate milk, and carrots for the reindeer. My parents used to drink the milk and leave the glass with a little in the bottom and leave some cookie crumbs so I could see it.

43. Have you ever sat on Santa's lap:
Yeah, but I don't really remember it.

44. Who do you celebrate Christmas with:
Family!

45. Where do you celebrate Christmas:
Grandma's house.

I live in Florida. The year I went to New York, it didn't snow. My uncle took me to a ski resort so I could see some. :)

Everyone being together. ...and presents. <3

Yep. I made my mother sit on his lap with me :D

Nah.
