Is it weird that I made a lot of horrible mistakes that I don't even feel sorry for? I'm sure not going to college (yet) was a huge mistake, and it doesn't even bother me. Oh dear.

My daugters did not go to college but are doing very well. By that I mean one is married with two children she homeschools and those two kids are so bright and well behaved. She had children and is committed to making sure they will be an asset to humanity.Tht is her calling.
My middle daughter is an artist and has had her work published and has done face screening for a new doll that has just been released.
Jillian shows promise in many areas but hasn't decided yet what path she wants to take. She does enjoy the culinary arts though so she may one day become a pastry chef.
Some people do very well in life without college, and some who have gone to college have either wasted their educations or the college degree has not given them a head up on those with only a high school education.
I have a BIL who had his Masters in Computer Design and is working for a PHD and was out of work for almost 3 years. He got a teaching certificate and is now teaching but that is not why he went to college. That is life today. The job you train for today may not be available in 4 years.
Do what is right for you. You are young and if you find next year or two years from now you need a college education you can go back.
Until then enjoy life in whatever way you can. It runs by us like a steaming locomotive not stopping for us to enjoy the roses unless we put on the brakes and get out to take some time to smell the roses ourselves.
Hugs, Christina
