Blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah.

Our prom is getting closer and closer. It's some random day in March, but of course dresses and stuff need to get done, like, yesterday, because being a senior sucks. I dunno WHY it has to be so difficult.
It's especially difficult to be female, because I have to find a dress that looks pretty on me, fits, and is pink that isn't like, 9237182371273 dollars + tax. I guess other girls don't care if their dresses are pink, but I do. I've worn black, red, and periwinkle blue to the Homecomings that I've attended, and I feel like that's a slight on what has always been my favorite color. They just don't make pink dresses that aren't fugly, though. Or that aren't strapless. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE strapless dresses. I really do. Some people look good in them; some don't. I'm one of those people who definitely does not belong in a strapless dress. They aren't comfortable, they SUCK, they look terrible on me, THE END.
And also unfortunately, dress shopping is even worse than shoe shopping on the list of Things I Don't Want Anyone To Accompany Me When Shopping For. In fact, as horrible as shoe shopping may be, "These would look so CUUUUUTE on you! They don't make those in your size! YOU'D NEVER BE ABLE TO WEAR THOSEEEEEE (because my feet SUCK)" is endlessly better than dress shopping.
It just doesn't work for me. I have the weirdest shape ever- my shoulders or my back or SOMETHING just doesn't fit into dresses very well. And I'm short. And my dress size is somewhere above 13. And my stomach sticks out a lot, and my arms look fat. I suck at life when it comes to dresses.
I don't even think that pink looks very good with my coloring; especially now that my "coloring" is "sallow and sleep-deprived" along with dark haired. I used to be naturally tan, but I guess I just used to tan easily, because I'm kind of pale now. I mean, I don't remember going outside very often, but apparently I leave my house even less than I used to.
And I'm picky. Very picky. I'm ready to give up and ask my aunt for the purple eat-me dress I described when looking for my 11th grade Homecoming dress. Allow me to refresh your memories (it's funny :)): http://ivybgreenflower.livejournal.com/116878.html?nc=8

:) So yeah, that's what I'm faced with if I don't find the pink dress of my dreams.

I had more to say, but now I forgot what it was. Anyway, I made homemade rice pudding, and it is GOOD.
The end.

I hate dress shopping. Thus why I'm glad my mom has so many awesome dresses that I can wear randomly.

Good luck in your search!!! :D
