Her majesty's a pretty nice girl, but she doesn't have a lot to say...
Last night my parents and I went to see Beatlemania backed by the Florida philharmonic symphony really spiffy name fancypants orchestra THING, and it was AWESOME.
There were all of these overdressed oldfolks there, including an old lady with a fake ponytail (it was obviously very expensive, and also very pretty.)
K so the orchestra comes on stage, right? And they warm up. And they play, and we clap, because they're good. And the lady comes on stage, and we clap, because that's what you do, and then she talks, and we clap again.
Then the faux!Beatles come on stage, and we clap and there are a few "whoo!"s, old person style. And then they play, and we all CLAPPPPPPP because they are GOOD. The Paul dude was born to be Paul McCartney. I swear to you, he sounded JUST LIKE HIM. EXACTLY LIKE HIM! It was scary. He had his mannerisms and his voice and his look and everything, and it was amazing. He was fantastic. George looked bored and slighlty like he had ADD, he kept wandering around the stage doing stagey things like switching guitars and microphones and stuff, but he sang great and looked good. John was a little off because impersonating John is really hard, but he also looked good (and he had a FANTASTIC wig!) and played the instruments well. And Ringo was a super drummer, he was amazing too, and it was all very amazing and wonderful and spectacular and squee/whee. And we claaaaaaaapped. A lot. My finger swelled up and I had to take off my ring. And they were extra-good because we sat allllllll the way up in almost the very last row, so we were far away and thus it made it seem more real and good. And the last song on the program was SO not the last song they did. We clapped and clapped and cheered and stuff and so they kept coming back and doing more, they did Hey Jude and Twist and Shout and I think that's all the extras, but still, it was goooood. I came home exhausted and I'm still tired and it was worth it.
+I might write something later, not the story with Melissa but something else.
