Listen, please.

When you have a bad day, it makes you think about who else is having a bad day too, and it kind of humbles you to think of how bad their days are compared to yours. Which is why I'm here to ask you to go visit [livejournal.com profile] sapphsmum. Just visit a while and read up, and then visit
Just take a look, k? Go see what you can do. It'll make me feel better. Go send her some hugs :)

Hi Ivyette,

Thanks for being so sweet to post this on your journal!
I have bad days like everyone and I stop to think of those worse than me too.Even as hard as it is for us there are some worse off and I try to remember that. It helps put things in perspective.

My second cousin lost her Grandma (who lived with her family) to cancer in May 2001, then her brother who had just turned five a month before died in July 2001 from cancer of the brain. And she was only 10 at the time. Then two years later November 2003 her Mom died at the young age of 34 to a brain tumor. By this time my cousin Jessica was only 13.

Jessica's Grandma was my Mom's sister Joanne and she was like an sister to me since she lived with my family growing up. I have set up a web site to honor them and other family members including my Mom who died in my arms from lung cancer . The site also is for raising money for cancer research. The site is at (http:www.angelpennies.com)if you would like to see it. All the money is asked to be sent t St. Jude's and it explains the story of Brandon and his collecting "angel pennies"that he donated to St. Jude's for cancer research.

So when I have hard days I think of Jessica and how much she has lost.

I thank you for adding the hyperlink to my site as well. Either Larry will have no job soon (they decided to wait another 2 weeks to decide) or he will be working for a lot less than he is now and we have been struggling on what he makes already. So we're trying to keep a good thought and praying.

Thanks for caring and for being so generous with your LJ space to include me.
Hugs to ya!Christina
