Q is such a misunderstood letter
...
Yesterday I forgot to mention a two things.
1. Bianca and I finally got our report cards. She did well, and mine went as follows:
English: B (I so wanted my A. Blah.)
Physics: F (surprise, surprise)
Geometry: F (now at least I'm in Algebra)
Lunch
Spanish III: B (I must be slipping)
Personal Fitness: A (surprise, surprise)
Aaaaand AP American History: B!!
I'm so consistent. I mean, I looked at my whole report card and the grades were almost the same all the way across the thingie- 1st nine weeks, 2nd nine weeks, exam, and semester grade are all the same letter. Except the C I got on my English exam, and the D I got 1st 9 weeks in Geometry... hahahaha.
2. I broke my glasses again. It's not a problem, I always break them somehow, (somehow I step on them a lot more than I should...) and they always get fixed. But I was stuck wearing my old purple glasses that are a bit larger and have a bottom frame and I hate them. I used to love them but I got so used to my new ones... anyway. I went to Wal*Mart (where I got them) and they are as good as new (well, if you ignore the scratches) except for one thing-
We discovered a strange vision problem I have now.
I can't see with both of my eyes.
Strangest thing I've ever heard of. And that includes how "normal" it is for me to see different colors with each eye. My right eye is my "red eye"- I see more redish/pinkishly put of that eye. The left eye is the blue one. Of course, when it blends together, the color concentration changes to normal.
Only now, my right eye and my left eye are competing.
We did a vision screening because the floor kept moving(!). The letters blurred together so I kept seeing a V and an S on top of each other. But when the thing moved to the right or left, I could read it fine. So my depth perception has been all off. I'm wearing the purple glasses because for some reason I can see better with these.
I hate my eyes.
To top it all off, my mother had to go to Beall's, which isn't such a bad thing (even though I hate that store), except for who I saw going into the store-
You-know-who, the monster of all monsters, the Grendel that Beowulf failed to destroy-------
SEXTON. And his GIRLFRIEND. She had her arm around his waist and everything. My mom said "aw", I said "CAN THIS DAY GET ANY WORSE?"
I had salad with my special homemade dressing for dinner and I am happy, if a little woozy from looking up at the screen and then down again at the moving keyboard, but it isn't that bad anymore.
Grrrrr.
Note to self: Get new eyes.
ANYWAY, so I don't sound like all I do is complain, I'll ramble about something else now.
ordinaryturtle, ol' Rock iz Crock himself, keeps mentioning rp-ing, which makes me think, if I did a Harry Potter rpg, who would I be?
And if they did an original... which of my characters would I be?
List:
Satoshira: I think she died. I think I killed her off. No one knows and everyone hates her. So no.
Ivy: ...same. Except she doesn't live in Japan. Ha.
Julia: How I love my Julia. Actually, I love her boyfriend. She's my favorite so far, though.
Cynthia: Ah, the token dysutopian character. But the whole rpg universe would have to be a 1984ish Farenheit 451ish thing, or she wouldn't work. She's fairly new anyway.
Miranda or Victoria: Well, people hate them too, because they are rich. Hahahahhahahahhahaa.
So that's it. Hee.
There are, believe it or not, Beatles rpgs. You play a Beatle, a Beatle wife/fiancee, a Beatle relation, or someone else from the 60s. ...They never do a good enough job. ...I could play a good Cynthia Lennon...
Anyway. I'm listening to the Help! Soundtrack. I love the instrumentals!
Man that was a great movie. I can't wait until they rerelease it like ADHN. Speaking of, ADHN was nominated for an Oscar way back when for best screenplay. Hee.
