"No... no... we didn't just do what we totally just did." Janet dropped the bloody knife. Maureen began to smile insanely. She stood in front of Janet, face-to-face, and put her hands on her shoulders. "We did. He's GONE, Janey!"
Janet looked over Maureen's shoulder and felt sick. "No.. I didn't... I couldn't have..." Maureen smiled more broadly. "You did. I did. WE did. He's gone, Janey. He's GONE. Finally." Janet laughed nervously. "We'll never get away with this. Never." Maureen payed her no attention and instead clutched her shoulders tightly. "Janes, it's me and you now. Fugitives. We can live on the run with disguises and tainted hands." The phrase "tainted hands" jarred Janet. She looked into Maureen's insane eyes and smiled the same insane smile. "You're free, Maureen," she said, her mouth twitching. Maureen let go of Janet, stood over the body, and screamed "I'M FREEEEEEEE!"
Janet stood next to her. They hugged for a minute, sinister glee in their eyes. "So who's next?" Janet asked.
