ivybgreenflower: The Beatles (late period), surrounded by green plants and red flowers (Default)

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

So. Beatlemania.
It's where four guys dress up as John, Paul, George, and Ringo and sing Beatles songs. You're supposed to pretend it's really the Beatles. In between acts (they have to go backstage and change their clothes a few times) they play clips of other bands and commercials from whichever particular time period they're doing at that point in the show. They had lots of good bands no one pays attention to for some reason, and the cutest thing, I think, was when they showed the Monkees :) They had a pretty long clip, actually, the whole Monkee theme song with clips of them doing, you know, whatever things the Monkees did. So that was cool. No souvenirs, but Mother did get some pictures of them. We were originally going to sit in the second row, but we decided it was too close 'cause then we'd be all "eewwww that guy doesn't look like Paul!" and the speakers were right there. So we moved back a few rows. Ringo looked at me. For a long time O.o He was all *smile* *heehee* *still looking* and I was all OMG FAKE!RINGO IS LOOKING AT ME SQUEE! Twas cool. They were a little off sometimes. They have fake accents, of course, and one thing to remember is that Paul DOES pronounce his Rs sometimes, all of them said their Hs, and John was not Scottish. That and the Paul dude was playing a right hand bass, and Paul McCartney plays left hand. So that was off, having George and Paul playing next to each other like that, I kept thinking Paul was going to smack George with his guitar. Of course he didn't, but still. They were really good about mannerisms, though. George did the little George dances and John did his skippy thing and Paul kept backing away from the microphone to stand next to Ringo, like the real Paul did. They didn't shake their heads enough although if they did their wigs would come off. I loved them dearly, however, and next time they come I'll definitely go again. You knew I'd rip apart any Beatle imitators :) But it really was fantastic. Even if everyone around me was old. O.o I swear, there were so many white haired, wrinkled old people... But it was fun. Lots of fun. Plus, it was in the same place- the Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete- that Ringo was in when I went to see him August 16th 2003. :)

And then today after Mother, Grandfather, and I went to CiCi's for pizza, I made Mother take me to Wal*Mart to buy goggles for Zoology (we're doing disections- I think next time I'm going to sit out.) But anyway, an old man who shouldn't have been driving at all 'cause his van was the size of my living room and the back of the van was filled with some power chair so he couldn't see ended up backing up into our car. Mother and I, plus our car, are all fine. One passing woman said "You're alright, no damage" (she was nice) and another guy in a smaller van offered to stay with us in case there was damage and we needed a witness. He was nice too. :) This is why we live in Spring Hill; if that happened in, say, New York or even Tampa no one would have payed us any attention. But of course our little car is just fine. (It's fairly new. It's a 2003.) Of course, Mother blamed the whole incident on me because it was my fault I didn't ask to be taken for my goggles earlier. Like I made the old man be dementia'd out or something. That and I had another allergic... thing to the pizza and pasta I had. I get this weird feeling, almost like I ate like 1346 times too much, and it's like "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"- that's the only way I can describe it- and then I sneeze for about, I'd say, seven hundred hours, and then I'm fine. Ok, maybe I sneeze for about a minute or two, but once I'm finished I don't feel so full anymore, and you don't digest that quickly, so the weird feeling is related to the sneezing. Unless I sneeze out my dinner or something O.o. But it ONLY happens after eating pizza or any form of pasta, with any kind of sauce. Mother says it's a wheat allergy. I'm going to go look it up on one of those medical sites or something. And of course, Mother and Co. always get mad at me for sneezing, as if I did it on purpose, like I snorted pepper or something. *shakes head*
And now I'm hungry.
